"I Statements" challenge

i was … hesitant to move to nebraska

i am … where i'm supposed to be

i think … i know more than i actually do

i wonder … where i'll be in ten years

i wish … i didn't have such a bad habit of procrastinating

i save … makeup until i'm convinced i can't get another drop out of the bottle

i always … give strangers the benefit of the doubt but rarely extend those closest to me the same courtesy

i can’t imagine … life in a small family

i believe … that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, restored in our day

i promise … to start working on torts as soon as i publish this post

Easter-inspired manicure-inspired eyeshadow?

Last night I Skyped with Jess and Jen for quite awhile. While I sat at my desk talking to them, I decided to paint my nails. I showed Whitney the colors I was thinking about and she told me which one I should use. I painted a few nails before I started thinking about all of Adiel's manicures featuring accent nails, so I decided to do one. Since it's Easter weekend, clearly I decided to make the accent nail an Easter egg. It was fun.

This morning as I was doing my makeup and seeing my awesome Easter-inspired manicure all over my face, I got inspiration for my eyeshadow. Since being in law school, I've pretty much stuck to neutrals in my eyeshadow, but I have a real love for crazy colors.
I bought Urban Decay's 24-7 Pencil Stash awhile ago and have used the center three colors quite a bit, but the purple and blue remained untouched. Prompted by the purple dots and blue zigzags on my nails, I decided to change that.

The blue is pretty bright as a main lid color, but it's a dreary, rainy day and I'm getting ready to leave to spend all of it at the library. I think a little brightness can only bring good :)
Happy Easter!
